Family Reunion
We were happy to meet up, face-to-face, with some of our experts last month; Lara Hammoudeh, our Baker and Chocolatier, who visited Jordan for the ‘Eid holidays, spoke about life in Saudi Arabia and her future plans for her Teatime Tasties corner. Hammoudeh has been a dedicated food writer in both Family Flavours and Nakahat ‘Ailiyeh since 2020.
Sara ‘Ajour and her family also paid us a visit all the way from England and KSA respectively. It was interesting to see the fusion of cultures, reflected in ‘Ajour’s three-year-old Fusion Kitchen corner, as her British mother and Jordanian father spoke about teaching in Saudi Arabia. ‘Ajour discussed her academic aspirations and spending time in England with her grandmother testing various “fused” recipes.
