My Wadi Rum

I’ve travelled the world but Wadi Rum has a special place in my heart. It gives me space, peace and the tranquillity to just be.
In the hustle and bustle of urban life, Wadi Rum is my sanctuary for mindfulness. It is a place “out of this world” with its dramatic landscapes, breath-taking mountain views, stunning yellow and red sand dunes and thousands of rock inscriptions. Wadi Rum offers unparalleled stargazing opportunities and mind-blowing sunrises and sunsets, when the sky turns from soft blue to intense orange, then fiery red.
The desert may seem devoid of life, yet in the early morning one can find hundreds of little footprints from resilient animals living in rather harsh conditions. Nature is truly stunning here and being open to all, its beauty has a meditative and healing effect on me.
